This was announced by Kyivstar CEO Oleksandr Komarov during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Interfax-Ukraine reports .
According to him, in some regions the network operates in conditions of total blackout. At the same time, the CEO of Kyivstar emphasized that despite the difficult conditions, the total share of the company's non-working equipment does not exceed 10%. Out of 16,500 facilities, a little more than 1,000 are not working.
“The core network is protected for 72 hours. And we are quite confident that we can hold out even longer,” the company’s CEO added.
Komarov also noted that to ensure the operation of the network in conditions of unforeseen power outages, the company is ready to additionally attract more than 2,000 specialists.
