According to YC.Market data obtained by DOU , in August 3,534 IT entities were registered in Ukraine, of which 3,230 were individual entrepreneurs and 304 were companies.
For comparison, in July, 3,607 entities were opened, including 3,290 individual entrepreneurs and 317 companies.
In August, 2,274 IT entities ceased operations: 2,266 individual entrepreneurs and 8 companies.
In July, there were 2,782 closures of IT entities: 2,776 individual entrepreneurs and 6 companies.
Recall thatin the first quarter of 2025, the information technology sector ranked second in terms of the number of open individual entrepreneurs in Ukraine , but also leads among closed ones.
If we talk about 2024, almost 40,000 IT sole proprietorships were closed in Ukraine , while more than 26,000 new ones were opened.
