VeliTech is laying off 80 people across several projects, according to the Telegram channel «Overheard in IT.» This is about 25% of the company.
Specialists who were laid off will be compensated with their salaries for the current and next month.
It is reported that the reason for the reduction was artificial intelligence.
Despite this the company has 4 open positions on LinkedIn. Three of them are Sales Managers in the Philippines, and one Senior Game Designer in Ukraine.
