The Cabinet of Ministers has postponed the mandatory use of payment terminals by individual entrepreneurs of the 1st group — this requirement has been postponed until three months after the end of martial law.

«The decision was made in response to the appeal of small businesses, for which servicing POS terminals today creates additional financial pressure,» Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko explained on her TV channel.
According to her, this will allow small entrepreneurs to maintain income in conditions of war, power outages, and logistical constraints.
She also added that during the postponement, businesses should prepare to transition to cashless payments and choose one of several payment methods: POS terminals, mobile applications, or QR codes.
