As dev.ua was informed by the press service, the subscription allows you to reserve a car without a deposit, and also provides free parking and permission to end the trip in yellow zones.
Customers who subscribe are also promised priority processing of support requests and early access to new cars via notifications in the app.
Among other advantages, the company mentions 30 minutes of free car booking before the start of the trip instead of the standard 20.
«In general, we plan that about 20% of the monthly active audience will use the subscription. Such formats of car use are gaining popularity in the world. They provide more flexibility: you can change the car depending on your needs and not deal with some of the operational issues,» commented Taras Getmansky, CEO of Getmancar.
The company says that the idea of a subscription came about a long time ago, as a significant portion of new users were postponing car reservations due to concerns about the return of the deposit, while others did not have enough time to get to the car within the standard waiting window.
According to the company, over 500 users activated the subscription in the first two weeks after launch. Currently, the FREEDOM subscription is only available in Ukraine.
Previously, dev.ua reported how the popular Ukrainian car sharing service Getmancar tried to recover damages from the client for a damaged car and a huge fine, but the Soborny District Court of the city of Dnipro sided with the driver.
