This was reported by the Main Directorate for Lifecycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment. It is noted that the «Birds of Prey» have already proven their effectiveness in destroying Russian armored vehicles and fortified firing positions.
These drones have increased resistance to enemy electronic warfare and are produced in frames of various sizes. The Ministry of Defense reports that the «Birds of Prey» carry a combat load sufficient to destroy a tank, armored personnel carrier, self-propelled artillery mount, fortified dugout, etc.
They can work in different weather conditions, day and night.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov spoke about the secret naval drone «Katran» from the participants of the Brave1 Military Armored Company HUB. It has a powerful arsenal, AI technologies and can cover a distance of up to 1000 km.
In addition, the Unmanned Systems Forces officially announced thatthey had begun intercepting Russian-Iranian Shahed-136/131 UAVs, also known as Geraniums, using a «new tool» that costs several times less than enemy kamikaze drones. The UAS announced 10 successful Shahed hits with this weapon.
Recall that the Ukrainian Magura V5 surface drone, designed to destroy enemy ships and coastal facilities, has received a new upgrade that allows it to operate together with a «swarm» of decoy drones. This overloads Russian defense systems, allowing the main strike vehicles to reach the target.
