Instead of hiring new workers for tasks that can be more easily automated, some companies are letting artificial intelligence take over the work — and reaping the potential savings.
It is reported that the software development industry has seen an 8.5% decrease in vacancies compared to last year, not counting post-COVID mass layoffs. This means that the labor market for developers may be in the "red" zone for several years.
