He told this in a comment to AIN. In October, it became known that Ukrainian EdTech company Promova is returning to the product company Boosters , and Andriy Skrypnyk is leaving the position of CEO to devote himself to a new project.
According to Skrypnyk, he met Portal founder Volodymyr through the book “25 Principles of the Playa,” which he wrote using Portal after attending the Burning Man festival. The book reached the startup founder through KYG platform CEO Oleksiy Malytskyi, after which the entrepreneurs began negotiations about cooperation.
At the launch stage, Portal developed AI solutions for marketing automation, and in January 2025 it transformed into a social network with on-demand video generation. In February 2026, the company made another pivot and released a personal AI assistant Portal One, which can work with mail and calendar, search and compare offers, and remember the user's context. In parallel, the startup is developing an AI operator Midos, which writes code and learns on its own, and is also sold to other companies.
"Chatbots like ChatGPT and Claude are already widespread, but the market for personal assistants that independently perform user tasks is only just emerging. This will be a large market, but it is not yet clear who exactly will become the leader in it," Andriy Skrypnyk noted.
The startup team plans to create a personal assistant for the mass user and continues to build a social network for interaction and sharing experiences. Skrypnyk reported that he has already launched the first blocks of the updated social network.
