Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi spoke about recruiting to the Unmanned Systems Forces.
“The average age of people who join the Unmanned Systems Forces is 34 years old, practically no one has such an indicator,” Vadym Sukharevsky told Radio Liberty’s Donbass Realities project.
He added that the percentage of people with higher education who come is more than 80%. And with two higher educations - about 30%.
"In six months, we have completed the recruitment cycle from scratch - from the moment of application submission to distribution to departments. In difficult conditions, this is worth a lot," said Sukharevsky.
Regarding the training of fighters, the colonel believes that a soldier truly learns to fight in war. "He can be trained, taught to know his weapons, tactics, engineering and medical training, which is what is being done. But we will not simulate the arrival of a KAB or 20 artillery shells. This is about strength and motivation. The most important thing is to achieve the planned process already here," concluded colonel Sukharevsky.
