«We are not changing any top managers. Each interview is another sip of fresh water. I am sure that companies like Kyivstar, like Helsi will change us (Kyivstar),» he said at the celebration of the 15th anniversary of Uklon.
He said that Kyivstar, as a more mature business, will try to use the young energy of Uklon.
Komarov also said that the negotiations have been going on since the beginning of 2023, that is, for two years. And the transaction itself, the president of Kyivstar assured, will take place next week.

Recall that in December 2024, Kyivstar submitted an application to the Antimonopoly Committee (AMCU) to acquire Uklon. But it was only on the second attempt that it received AMCU permission — on February 6. According to the assessment of the analytical department of Forbes Ukraine, the current price of the company could be $40–80 million. But both companies agreed on a price that turned out to be significantly higher — $155.2 million.
