Rakuten Viber surveyed its messenger users about the habits they have changed online over the past year. Over 27,000 users responded (key age group: 34-45, with over 50% of respondents under 45).
It turned out that 51% of Ukrainians pay their utility bills through apps. Another 12% have completely switched to banking on their phones instead of visiting branches. At the same time, every fifth respondent (21%) does everything offline.
Viber users also shared the following habits:
Viber previously reported that 22% of Ukrainian users started following the news less, 11% stopped doing so altogether, while 44% listened to Ukrainian music more often, and 26% watched Ukrainian-language YouTube more.
