Business is slowly recovering from the consequences of the Russian missile attack on December 20. As a reminder, on the morning of that day, a Russian missile hit the Toronto business center in the center of the capital, where the offices of MacPaw are located, Superhumans Centre specialists worked, and the head office of Sense Bank.
MacPaw specialists dismantled the rubble of the office and took several photos for DOU showing what the office looks like from the inside.
The biggest problem is that the windows were blown out, the facade and the boiler room were damaged, the founder of the IT company MacPaw, Oleksandr Kosovan, told Forbes. «We are still assessing the damage, but the preliminary estimate is that just replacing the windows will cost about $100,000,» Kosovan said. On the day of the attack, he assumed that work could be forgotten for the next couple of weeks, and «if the boiler room cannot be restored, then this is a problem for half a year.»
Today, the businessman reported on Facebook that an enemy missile hit the roof of the building, where a lot of engineering equipment is located, including a gas boiler room, which was destroyed. «A large-scale fire should have occurred due to a gas leak, but this did not happen, because the first missile, 15 minutes before, hit a different place and broke the gas pipe on the road that powered the boiler room. A large-scale fire was avoided, because by coincidence, there was almost no gas in the boiler room at that time! Yes, the destruction is significant, the restoration of the building, according to preliminary estimates, will cost several million dollars. Our office premises were slightly damaged. Everything could have been much worse, so we will rebuild, replace all the windows and continue to work, they will not break us! Rusni p*da!», — wrote Kosovan.

He also said that there were no physical injuries among the team, the SEALs, or the guests. «Fortunately, most of our colleagues had not yet started their workday at the time of the shelling, but a few hours could have significantly changed the consequences. Terror tactics will not break us — we continue to work, help, and achieve for the sake of Ukraine and the future that we will definitely create together,» he noted.
