Intern/trainee programmer (data analysis, web scraping) — this vacancy appeared on Work.ua on January 19, 2026.
The employer, the Business Research Group, notes that "ideally, this is a student with no experience, for whom this will be the first part-time job in his career for little money, after which it will be easy for him to find a full-time job after a year."
The company promises to pay $1 per hour at the start, which, according to its calculations, judging by the description, could amount to 4,000–8,000 UAH per month. The earned funds will be sent via PayPal and Western Union.
In addition, the employer added that hourly accounting is maintained in a Google spreadsheet, where completed tasks must be noted daily.

Work.ua says in Russian that Business Research Group is a Ukrainian-American company that implements a wide range of joint projects, maintaining close contact with universities in the CIS and North America. The company works in two areas: data analysis and marketing.
According to Opendatabot and YouControl , Business Research Group (LLC "BUSINESS RESEARCH GROUP") is a Ukrainian company registered in 2018 that specializes in conducting research, marketing analysis, and providing information services for businesses. The company assists in strategic planning and market assessment.

User iv.pas noted that it's not even about $1 per hour, but about working conditions: "Honestly, even the fact that they pay $1 per hour (well, we're counting somewhere around $160-170 per month) is still a joke. The requirements there are minimal, the vacancy is literally for a student. But biiiiiiin... hourly accounting, reporting every day is just some kind of rofl. The only thing missing is a time tracker that doesn't count a minute if you didn't move the mouse or click the keyboard during that minute."
He added that the position is not bad as an opportunity to start in IT, especially now that it is difficult for beginners without experience to find a job. "Quite often they start with the minimum wage (sometimes even for free), and then after a year they move on to something normal where the salary will be $1,000 or more. In short, it is an okay position if it weren't for this hypercontrol."
Others started joking in the comments.
