As the company’s press service reported, as an experiment, the hiring process was moved to the virtual world.
«In conditions of war and relocation of specialists, the metaverse has become a safe inclusive space that erases the borders between cities and countries, while maintaining the effect of a „live“ presence that regular Zoom does not provide,» WhiteBIT noted.
During this event, each candidate had their own avatar, could freely move around the virtual space, approach the team stands, and undergo 1:1 interviews.
According to the company, a total of over 70 candidates registered for the event, of which 35 participated in the event.
«Within two hours, 4 recruiters held 25 speed dating meetings — 5 times more than is possible in traditional recruiting. They were mainly interested in vacancies for marketing specialists, project managers, and data analysts,» WhiteBIT shared the result.
At the same time, according to the results of the event, five of its participants received invitations to the next stage — technical interviews at the company.
