This month, mobile operator Kyivstar submitted a second application to the Antimonopoly Committee (AMCU) to acquire Tabletki.ua. The first attempt was in November.
In November 2024, Kyivstar submitted an application to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to purchase MTPK LLC , which owns the Tabletki trademark and is the main legal entity of the company, but the committee returned it because it did not meet the requirements of the Regulation on the procedure for considering applications and cases on the concentration of business entities.
On February 14, the company tried again and submitted a new application, Forbes Ukraine reports . As of February 20, the application is being analyzed for compliance with the requirements established by the legislation on the protection of economic competition.
The current price of Tabletki.ua could be $30-80 million, according to the assessment of the analytical department of Forbes Ukraine.
As dev.ua reported, Kyivstar is collecting valuable assets before entering Nasdaq . In addition, it was actively creating a team that would deal with M&A, with an emphasis on the acquisition of other technology businesses . On February 6 , the company received permission to acquire control over the company UKLON LTD and LLC Tech Uklon, Uklon Corporate, and Uklon Ukraine .
