VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) is a modern technology for transmitting voice calls. It allows you to get high-quality and clearer voice sound and provides a fast connection.
The service will come in handy in cases where the mobile network signal is weak or unstable, but Wi-Fi coverage is available: in semi-basements, buildings with thick walls, basements and high-rise floors, etc. Calls using this technology are billed as normal voice calls.
The first to appreciate the benefits of VoWiFi will be the users of the "Home Internet" service from "Kyivstar" who have Apple smartphones that support iOS 17 and above (released in 2018).
Over time, VoWiFi will be available to users of other Ukrainian fixed line providers, and the list of smartphones with VoWiFi support in the Kyivstar network will also expand.
