Chinese humanoid robotics company AgiBot has introduced LinkCraft, a platform for creating content for robots that doesn't require coding.

Users can record a video on their smartphone and upload it to the platform, after which the robot independently learns and reproduces these movements.

To create complex content for humanoid robots, the platform combines AI-powered motion capture, cloud-based simulation learning, and multimodal orchestration, Interesting Engineering writes .

“No programming skills or specialized equipment are required. Simply upload a video of a person’s movements and LinkCraft will do the rest, effortlessly transforming real-world actions into precise robot movements. With this platform, we bring professional capabilities to everyday users,” said Zhihui Peng, co-founder, president and CTO of AgiBot.

Voice capabilities

In addition to mimicking movements, LinkCraft adds a voice acting feature that allows robots to speak and express emotions in a natural way.

Users can upload audio, record online, or even type text, and the system’s multi-modal AI synchronizes the robot’s movements, facial expressions, and tone for realistic reproduction. Built-in voice synthesis gives creators greater control over tone, voice type, and emotion to convey character and mood.

Group performance of robots

The platform also features "Device Linking" and "Group Control" functions to support large-scale performances and collaborative interaction, allowing multiple robots to perform in unison.

LinkCraft is suitable for commercial and entertainment purposes, and also includes a library of 180 action sets and 140 expression templates for easy content creation and sharing between users.

The platform is currently optimized for the AgiBot X2 , with support for the A2 and other models planned in the future. The X2 is currently in mass production, with shipments expected to reach thousands of units in 2025.

The public beta version of the LinkCraft platform is now available.
