Ukrainian OSINTers have discovered that the Defense Forces have begun using Leleka-100 reconnaissance UAVs with an anti-aircraft drone evasion system.
This is reported by Defence Express with reference to the OSINT project «Powerful Informant». Experts noticed in the photo of the downed «Leleka-100» published by the Russians a camera pointed at the back of the drone.
This is likely the Snitch system, which helps UAVs recognize enemy interceptor drones in the air and perform automatic evasive maneuvers. Last fall, it was reported that the system was being tested on Leleka-100M2R drones.
Deviro, the company that created Snitch, noted that the development had shortcomings, including blind spots that allow enemy drones to sneak up unnoticed. Therefore, engineers have been working on a next-generation evasion system since the fall that will be available for all of the company’s UAVs, not just the Leleka-100.

Previously, a representative of TAF Industries told dev.ua that many manufacturers install evasion systems or electronic warfare systems that create a «curtain» directly on the aircraft. However, TAF decided to take a different approach and create the «Babka» UAV — a reconnaissance drone so cheap that its loss would devalue the economic feasibility of its destruction.
