lifecell roaming in numbers: over a million subscribers, 5G and VoLTE in over 60 countries
More than a million lifecell subscribers abroad have taken advantage of promotional roaming services, including “Gigabytes without Borders” and “Minutes for Ukraine”. In response to growing demand, the operator is constantly negotiating with partners - currently, promotional offers for Ukrainians abroad have been extended until December 31, 2025. lifecell is also expanding the geography of access to the latest technologies - from VoLTE to 5G.

In response to growing demand, the operator is constantly negotiating with partners - currently, promotional offers for Ukrainians abroad have been extended until December 31, 2025. lifecell is also expanding the geography of access to the latest technologies - from VoLTE to 5G.
The largest number of lifecell subscribers in roaming is in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic - countries with a large number of Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homeland after the start of a full-scale war. At the same time, communication for lifecell subscribers in roaming is available even in the most remote corners of the world from Ukraine - for example, New Zealand, which confirms the global coverage of partners' networks.
Since the launch of the “Minutes for Ukraine” promotion, the volume of minutes used has increased by more than 25% compared to 2022. To receive promotional conditions in roaming, it is enough to fulfill the requirements of the promotion and pay or reorder a service package using the USSD code *700#. You don't need to connect anything additionally — minutes and gigabytes are charged automatically after payment or reordering an existing service package. You can check its balance using the USSD codes: *108*5# — for the Internet; *108*4# — for minutes of conversation.
VoLTE voice technology in roaming works in nine countries: Australia, Austria, Great Britain, Estonia, Canada, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the USA and Finland. The number of VoLTE users has increased hundreds of times compared to mid-2024. In addition, lifecell provides access to 5G networks in more than 60 countries, including such distant countries from Ukraine as Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Uruguay. Moreover, using 5G does not require additional fees.
lifecell, together with European operators, continues active cooperation to ensure maximum accessibility of roaming for Ukrainians abroad. The company recently confirmed its readiness to extend the validity of the Joint Statement on Affordable Roaming in the EU until December 31, 2025. The document supports the principle of "Roaming like at home" for Ukrainians and prepares for Ukraine's gradual full accession to RLAH from January 1, 2026.
