Mobile operator lifecell will terminate some tariffs from December 15. In order not to lose access to international roaming, users will need to switch to other packages that will include a certain amount of mobile Internet traffic in the EU at no additional charge.
The OBOZ.UA publication reports that these are the tariffs «Do it yourself», «Handmade» and «Unlimited Ringing». Some of the tariffs will no longer work, and some service conditions will change due to Ukraine’s accession to the European Union roaming space from January 1, 2026.
The «Do It Yourself», «Handmade» and «Unlimited Ringing» tariffs will not support international roaming, so their subscribers will be able to change their tariff free of charge until December 15.
The new tariffs provide a certain amount of mobile Internet traffic for use in the EU at no additional cost.
Recall that in the summer, the European Commission agreed to grant Ukraine a «roaming visa-free regime.» This will allow Ukrainians not to pay for roaming when making phone calls and using mobile Internet in the EU.
Lifecell reported that the largest number of Ukrainian subscribers are roaming in Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
