A LinkedIn profile is actually the first thing recruiters and potential employers see. But most users still see it as a formality, not a career positioning tool.
Sometimes this is phrased much more harshly.

Photo — simple but critically important
According to the platform, users with photos receive up to twice as many profile views.

LinkedIn recommends also adding pet projects, volunteering, and materials to Featured — this gives recruiters a quick understanding of what you really know.
Verification gives +60% views
Another factor is the verification badge.
According to the platform, verified profiles receive an average of 60% more views. In fact, this is a signal of trust: the user shows that their data is real.
