Gambling licenses will soon be available through "Diya". How it became possible

Licenses for gambling business operations will be available through the «Diia» service.

This was announced on his TV channel by First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

«The government has adopted a resolution on submitting an application for a gambling license through „Diya“. This is an important step towards the full digitalization and transparency of the gambling business,» he noted.

According to Fedorov, the corresponding service will be launched soon.

«Companies will be able to apply for a license online, without paperwork and visits to the PlayCity state agency. Even more convenience for business and transparency for the state,» the government official announced.

At the same time, the decision to issue licenses will be made by the PlayCity agency, and gambling companies will receive notifications from «Diia».

«Our next step is to fully automate the licensing process, where the system makes decisions based on clear criteria,» Fedorov summarized.

Recall that in September, the government approved a plan for the digital transformation of Ukraine for the next year and a half, which includes the plans of the Ministry of Digital Affairs for the rest of 2025 and for the entire next year 2026. These plans also included a digital wallet, 50 new electronic services, and gambling licenses in «Diia».

In turn, also in September, PlayCity began issuing licenses in the gambling business.
