Lumday is a convenient and simple birthday tracker for iPhone that helps you not to miss important events and congratulate your loved ones, friends or colleagues on time.
The application offers users a number of features:
Keep important dates in one place: Add people manually or easily import directly from Contacts.
Early reminders: Set up notifications the day before or on your birthday.
Home Screen Widgets: View upcoming holiday dates without having to open the app.
Personalized AI greetings : generation of warm and apt greetings in Ukrainian or English using artificial intelligence when it is difficult to find the right words.
iCloud and backups: sync data between all Apple devices and the ability to import/export backups.
In the free version, users can store data for up to 20 people, using free iCloud sync and backup. And the Lumday PRO version removes any restrictions on the number of saved contacts, provides access to the AI greeting generator and opens up all kinds of widgets.
As Mykola shared on LinkedIn, the development process lasted several months and was full of constant improvements and fixes. During this time, he completely redesigned the application about five times, striving to bring it to the ideal state he had imagined at the very beginning.
After the design concept and development were completed, the first builds, bug fixes, and communication with Apple moderators began. The app received as many as 4 rejections from the App Store before it was finally approved.
Despite all the difficulties, Lumday has passed a full cycle of checks and is already available to users.
