This assault took place in the Torets direction. «In the morning, scouts from the 3rd mechanized battalion noticed two tanks with infantry moving towards our positions. And not just any tanks, but „sewn up“ to such an extent that they were no longer barns, but entire bunkers», — the press service of the 28th Motorized Rifle Brigade reported on its social networks.
The Ukrainian military noted that the heavily armored Russian tanks were first detained and damaged by artillery, and then drone operators from the Spalah BBps, the Kurt&Company unit, the RV of the 3rd MB, and the 28th SMR joined in the damage.
«After several hits, the tanks tried to disperse along the forest belts to safely land the infantry among the greenery. But the Knights hit hard — with FPV, bombers, and even drones with artificial intelligence,» the 28th Motorized Rifle Brigade noted.
As a result of the battle, one tank was set on fire and disabled, and the other was completely destroyed. The Ukrainian military said that it took about 60 FPV drones to destroy the «monster tank» because it was difficult to find a vulnerable spot.

Analysts noted that it is important to destroy such equipment, because in addition to infantry, it can house electronic warfare, which will cover the occupiers from Ukrainian drones. Such «sheds» can also carry trawls to clear the way from mines for further assault operations.
Earlier, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade conducted the first-ever successful confirmed assault on enemy positions using only aerial and ground drones. Operators from the DEUS EX MACHINA company even managed to capture prisoners using a ground-based robotic complex .
Let us recall that in the winter of this year, the Ministry of Defense codified and allowed the «Witcher» drone to be operated in units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
