According to Hetmantsev, in the first five months of 2025, the gambling business paid UAH 8,970.7 million in taxes to the budget.
«This is UAH 1,634.8 million or 22,3% more than for the same period last year. And if we compare it with 2021, revenues have increased 125 times!», — noted the head of the finance committee.
He also clarified what these tax revenues consist of:
Hetmantsev added that revenue through RRO/PRRO in May amounted to UAH 4,867 billion, which is 1,7% more than in December 2024. In his opinion, this is a consequence of the mandatory fiscalization of operations, which started in December last year.
«The result is that legalization of the market gives a tangible effect: more transparency, more taxes, more funds for the country’s budget», — the People’s Deputy wrote.
Danylo Hetmantsev regularly reports on the increase in tax payments from the gambling business. In the winter, he stated that in 2024 the gambling business paid UAH 17 billion in taxes, which is 63% more than in 2023. The beginning of 2025 also became a record in terms of tax revenues from the gambling industry.
