Without an account, advertising, and data transfer to someone else's server: a Ukrainian developer created a tracker for babies Malyatko
Ukrainian iOS developer Oleksandr Bondar has released the Malyatko app for parents on Product Hunt — a tracker that allows parents to record feedings, sleep, weight, temperature, and events in their baby's life. The app works without registration or advertising, and the child's data is stored on the user's device and, if desired, in iCloud, so it does not need to be transferred to the developer's servers.
Ukrainian iOS developer Oleksandr Bondar has released the Malyatko app for parents on Product Hunt — a tracker that allows parents to record feedings, sleep, weight, temperature, and events in their baby's life. The app works without registration or advertising, and the child's data is stored on the user's device and, if desired, in iCloud, so it does not need to be transferred to the developer's servers.
"This is a tracker for toddlers that I made myself, because everyone else is either cluttered, or hides everything for $120/year, or wants an account and sends the child's data to someone else's server," the developer explained.
Malyatko has 18 types of tracking. You can record breastfeeding or bottle feeding, sleep, pumping, diapers, weight, height, temperature, medication, and other events. The app creates graphs, shows baby development stages, and has an interactive teething map.
The app also has AI features. Malyatko analyzes user-entered records and based on them shows simple observations about feeding and sleep patterns. A separate feature predicts when a child is likely to want to sleep next. The developer himself emphasizes that this is a search for patterns in the data, not medical recommendations.
The application can work without the Internet. And through iCloud, the child's profile can be synchronized between devices and given access to a partner or other family members. Malyatko also supports Apple Watch.
Malyatko is free to download from the App Store, but there is a paid Premium subscription inside. The Ukrainian App Store currently charges $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year. The application is available in Ukrainian and 34 other languages.
Previously, dev.ua wrote about another Ukrainian app for parents — My Baby Is Hero, which was created by developer Artem Tkachuk after the birth of his daughter. It generates personalized fairy tales, where the main character is the child himself: parents can add their name and photo, choose a genre, mood, and location, and the app will create a story with illustrations.

Простіше все записувати в гугл/ексель таблицю, при потребі передачі в чатгпт - зберігати в форматі csv, відкрити його будь-яким текстовим редактором, взяти текст і перекинути (саме як текст, бо це збереже вам токени і можливість завантажувати файли далі) в будь-який безкоштовний ллм типу chatgpt. Результат буде навіть кращим за це "Malyatko". Так ви контролюєте всі дані, шлете їх куди захочете (хоч лікару на імейл) і в якому захочете обʼємі.
