UPD. MAUDAU optimizes staff. Senior QA, developers and marketers were laid off. What does the company say?

MAUDAU, which creates and develops the marketplace of the same name as part of Fozzy Group, is optimizing its staff.

This became known from posts by the company’s specialists, who announced their entry into the labor market.

In particular, Senior QA Engineer with 7 years of experience, Oleksiy Grebenyuk, and Senior Manual QA with 5 years of experience, Lesya Smirnova, reported that they were laid off.

In addition, at the end of last week, Head of Digital Marketing Vladyslav Misiuk announced his farewell to MAUDAU.

«Unfortunately, the Ukrainian reality is such that yesterday you were planning how you would spend the high season with MAUDAU, and today you are already forced to look for a new job,» he wrote, without calling his departure from the company a layoff.

Technical specialists — Software Engineer Anton Yazvinsky and Senior Android Developer Alla Naumov — also write about job searching. MAUDAU is listed as the latest place of employment in the developer’s profile.

UPD August 25 at 1:40 PM. In MAUDAU, in a comment to DOU, said that the layoffs were due to the consequences of Russian attacks on the company’s logistics infrastructure. The number of employees being laid off is not named, but they note that the process will be carried out «fairly and correctly» in relation to people. «Such decisions are never easy. At the same time, today they are necessary to adapt to new conditions, maintain the stability of the business and continue our work,» the team explains.
