Ukrainian company Screenek, which produces drone bombers, which Russians call «Baba Yaga», has conducted test flights to deliver medicines and organs for transplantation. The UAVs were piloted by Ukrainian military personnel from Lasar’s Group.
This was reported by a specialist in the field of radio technology, military and engineer Serhiy «Flash» Bezkrestnov.
«Not all technology in war is aimed at destruction,» he noted. According to «The Flash,» the drones carrying medical supplies flew quite a long distance.
The initiator and organizer of the testing was the Director General of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Professor and cardiac surgeon Boris Todurov. His doctors recently removed a bullet from the heart of a Ukrainian soldier, with whom he had lived for three years in Russian captivity.
«Sergey defended Azovstal, spent 3.5 years in captivity with a bullet in his heart. On the third day after the bullet was removed, he was already walking in the courtyard of the Heart Institute,» Todurov said.
The video released by Bezkrestnov shows Boris Todurov preparing a heart for transplantation for transportation by drone, and placing a cooling agent and temperature recorder in the box.
Screenek LLC specialized in the production of COVID tests until 2023, and at the beginning of the Russian invasion, the company became a supplier of UAVs. According to the Office of Effective Regulation BRDO, it led the top 3 most profitable deftech residents of Dia.City in 2024 with UAH 6.5 billion.
The pilots who tested the drones for transporting medicines are part of the «Lazar’s Group» — a special forces unit within the National Guard of Ukraine. The commander of this unit is Colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine Pavlo «Lazar» Yelizarov, who was a producer before the large-scale invasion.
Lasar’s Group has a full cycle of designing and manufacturing drones, as well as ammunition for them, Military reported .
