Dismissal based on performance on February 10
As we recently announced, company-wide layoffs will take place on February 10th as part of the Performance@ 2024 cycle. I would like to share more information about how this process will unfold and what to expect by Monday.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10
Work from home. Our offices will be open, but anyone whose work permits can work from home on Monday. This will automatically count as personal time. Employee Notification

Note: Employees in Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands will be exempt from this exercise due to local legislation and will instead follow local performance management processes.

Employees in these countries will receive notifications between February 11-18. Czech Republic, Greece, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Nigeria, Philippines, Senegal, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand — While notifications will mostly be sent on the designated day and time for each country, some notifications may arrive with a delay due to reasons such as an employee being on protected leave.
Procedures
Impacted NORAM employees and most affected international employees will be notified via email via @meta.com and personal email addresses, and will no longer be employed by Meta from this point forward.
Guidance will be provided where different processes apply in different countries.
Access to the systems will be removed for affected employees within one hour of receiving notification.
Information about the severance package will be sent to affected employees as part of their email notifications. They will also receive a separate email to their personal email address with the severance agreement.
I understand that this can be a difficult day for teams that are furloughed on Monday, and this may cause some disruption and short-term impacts to your daily work. Managers may not have all the answers to your questions yet, but they will work with their leaders and work through these changes with you to provide additional clarity. I appreciate your continued commitment and focus on the work that lies ahead as we navigate these changes together.

Will there be any notifications sent when the notifications are complete? No, we will not be publishing any company-wide notifications.
Do we have a plan to fill roles affected by the changes? We intend to fill the roles affected, but plans and timelines for filling may vary across the organization.
How can I make sure Meta has the correct personal email address for me? Please make sure your personal information is up to date in Workday, including your personal email address,
