UPD. Metinvest Digital is likely to undergo reorganization. The company may be merged with MODUS X. Sources do not rule out layoffs, however, both companies are looking for people.
Ukrainian investment group SKM (System Capital Management) is likely to reform its IT assets. As dev.ua learned from several sources in the market, these reforms will concern the companies Metinvest Digital (controlled by Metinvest Holding) and MODUS X (controlled by DTEK Group BV, the Netherlands).

According to the first source, Metinvest Digital was supposed to become part — integrated — of Modus X. But now there is allegedly talk of potential cuts in the former.
A second source close to DTEK reported that there was supposed to be a merger of Metinvest Digital with MODUS X. «But in fact it turns out to be a takeover by Modus. Although there is a bit of a management shuffle there,» the source said. According to him, layoffs were planned in both companies.
We remind you that it recently became known that the former artificial intelligence product manager of Metinvest Digital Danylo Tsvok has joined the Ministry of Digital Affairs project — AI Center of Excellence.
«The merger process is underway, but without details,» a third source told dev.ua.
We reached out to MODUS X CEO Dmytro Osyka for comment, and also sent inquiries to Metinvest Digital and DTEK Senior Strategic Communications Manager Oleksandr Shevelyov, but have not yet received a response.

Here is what the MODUS X press service responded to dev.ua’s request: «MODUUS X is focused on cybersecurity and information protection of critical infrastructure in conditions of full-scale war, interaction with international partners, and support for digital business transformation. Yesterday, Dmytro Osyka wrote on social media that Modus X «is not just holding its position, but is confidently moving forward,» referring to the new DOU rating, where the company rose 2 places in the TOP-50 largest IT companies in Ukraine.
According to the DOU website, Modus X has published 38 vacancies for both technical specialists and managerial or administrative positions. The company’s website reports 6 open positions (Business Analyst Creatio, IT support Engineer, Information Security Manager (ISO), Network Administrator (Cisco), SMM Specialist and Delivery Manager). Searching on work.ua or robota.ua, there are fewer vacancies for Modus X, two or three. Although for DTEK, a search is open at the time of publication of the material for 267 vacancies.
Metinvest Digitalis looking for two specialists at DOU: Full-Stack Python/JS Developer and AI Technical Product Manager. Information about 10 open vacancies is published on the company’s website and about 11 on robota.ua.
