This was stated by Stanislav Onyshchuk, head of the First Volunteer Surgical Hospital "Brass".
In addition to technological solutions from Microsoft, the hospital uses augmented reality technologies for operating rooms from Ukrainian startup Aspichi. According to Onyshchuk, the institution is again the first in Ukraine to use VR technologies for operations.
As part of this partnership, doctors provide developers with feedback to improve the product, which features can be included to better adapt to patients' needs.
The hospital also plans to collaborate with a medical university to conduct research in the application of new technologies.
Brass is not the only hospital in Ivano-Frankivsk that uses AI in its work. Last year, the Regional Phthisiopulmonological Center received an AI kit for automatic analysis of chest X-rays.
Recall that in the summer, the Aspichi startup announced a partnership with the American medical organization Rocky Mountain Care.
