The Ministry of Economy has resumed the provision of critical enterprise statuses for reservations. The first 7 companies with confirmed status according to the new criteria can already book specialists

The relevant decisions of the Ministry of Economy were adopted on November 29 during the work of the commission for determining criticality in accordance with Resolution No. 76, taking into account the latest changes approved by Resolution No. 1332 of November 22, 2024.

«The first seven enterprises successfully passed the criticality update procedure according to the new criteria. These are companies from the sphere of production of glass products, furniture, textiles, ceramic tiles and other spheres. Companies were able to book employees for up to 12 months. Those who have not updated their criticality can also book employees. This reservation will be valid until February 28, 2025, which is the deadline for criticality updates. In general, during the first two days of the resumption of reservations through Diya, companies submitted 3,500 applications for the reservation of 26,700 employees,» said the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliya Svyridenko. However, officials do not disclose what kind of companies these are.

We remind you that enterprises that have not yet updated, but still have an active status of critical importance, can book employees until February 28, 2025. After updating the criticality according to the new mandatory criteria, they will be able to book employees for a longer period of time — up to 12 months.

To receive critical status, private enterprises must meet two mandatory criteria:

1. Salary level. The average salary must be at least UAH 20,000 for the reporting period
2. No debts. The enterprise must not be in debt to the state or local budget for any taxes and fees.

It is also necessary to meet one of the additional criteria:

• the amount of paid taxes and contributions exceeds €1.5 million;
• receipts in foreign currency exceed € 32 million;
• the enterprise is of strategic importance for the state (defined in the list of strategic objects);
• the enterprise is a resident of Diya City;
• provides communication services with significant revenues;
• is important to the economy or community needs.

Sectoral and regional criteria state bodies must agree with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Economy.
