«The Ministry of Economy did not prepare or consider documents that would provide for the termination of the National Cashback in 2026. The information published in the media is not true,» the ministry’s press service reported .
The Ministry of Economy added that the changes in regulations cited in the media relate only to the technical redistribution of funds, but do not indicate a decision to reduce funding or terminate the program.
«The Ministry of Economy emphasizes: in the event of any decisions that may affect the work of the program, the public will be informed in advance and in full. Currently, the program is ongoing, and all processes are operating as usual,» the ministry assured.
They also announced that preparations are currently underway for the next cashback payments for September and October.
Earlier, the media reported that the government is winding down the «Natchekashback» program and may stop payments as early as January 2026. In particular, the Cabinet of Ministers' Resolution No. 1510, published on the government portal, states that the accrued cashback for December 2025 should be transferred in February 2026, but only if budgetary resources are available.
