The main idea of Modula is not just to collect ads in one place, but to learn to understand the taste of a particular person. Apartment rental ads are aggregated from open sources — on the application website, the team directly mentions LUN, Rieltor.ua, and OLX — and if the apartment is rented directly by the owner, he can add an ad directly in the application, without intermediaries.
Then, a mechanic similar to swiping in dating apps comes into play: the user likes or rejects the apartments that are shown to him, and Modula gradually learns from these choices and forms a personal selection «For you.» According to the team, the first few swipes are enough for the application to start catching the pattern — what interiors, space and style this person likes.
Among the features that are already working at the testing stage: 360° apartment tours, assessment of whether the stated price is adequate, and booking a viewing in two clicks — without lengthy correspondence with a realtor.
