This was announced by the co-founder of the neobank, Oleg Horohovsky, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the ability to leave comments on card transfers is sometimes misused. Customers have complained that people they have blocked on all other messengers and social networks find a way to communicate through the banking app by sending minimal amounts via text messages.
"Therefore, we are introducing a new function - block your ex," said Gorohovsky.
From now on, users can ban any sender whose transfers they find undesirable. You can activate the blocking directly in the details of a specific transfer. At the same time, the co-founder of monobank joked about the advisability of using this function in all cases.
“But I wouldn’t abuse the feature because there aren’t many people in the world who are willing to pay to tell you something,” Gorokhovsky added.
Recall that at the end of June , monobank also began testing a significant update to its loyalty program . The neobank plans to abandon fixed cashback percentages and a monthly limit of UAH 500. Instead, a progressive four-level scale is being introduced: the percentage of cashback will increase in proportion to the amount of spending in each selected category.
