The partnership has not been publicly announced before. At the same time, there is already a page on the monobank website for a joint product, which the bank describes as «a full event cycle — together with Eventmate.» According to the web archive, the page has existed since at least November 2025, but initially it only featured mono services.
Monobank and Eventmate Forbes did not tell when exactly and on what terms the companies agreed to cooperate.
What does the organizer get?
Eventmate is an event management platform that allows you to create an event page, open registration, sell tickets, manage a list of attendees, and verify attendees using QR codes.
Forbes names the service’s clients as coworking Kooperativ, BetterMe, and IT company Boosta. For monobank, this is another way to enter a specific business vertical not only as a payment service, but also through a specialized product.
The logic is similar to the bank’s approach to other segments. Monobank is already developing separate services for restaurants — Expirenza and TakeUsEat, and also works with ChoiceQR. The bank also has products for other groups of entrepreneurs, in particular Base by mono for bloggers.
In the case of Eventmate, the organizer can get a whole bundle of financial services: business account, ticket sales, online payments, POS terminals, QR payment and fiscalization. For the bank, this means a potentially new stream of business clients.
«A new business client comes with their payment turnover,» explains Iclub Managing Partner Yuriy Romanyukha. The most obvious source of income for mono is acquiring. According to Forbes, the bank’s basic rate for payments with Ukrainian cards is 1,3%. But monetization may not end there. For some events, you can use mono’s «Purchase by installments.» This may be especially interesting for organizers of expensive events, since installments potentially lower the threshold for purchasing a ticket.
