«We are giving a 10% discount on everything you see in the monomarket,» said monobank co-founder Oleg Horohovsky, noting that these are not just discounts.

A few hours after this launch of discounts on the marketplace, Gorohovsky reported: «Vendors are panicking and removing goods from the storefront. They don’t want you to buy cheaper and they don’t want to earn less in other channels. This is the competition in Ukrainian e-com. They are not fighting for customer experience and better conditions, but with those who offer customers better conditions than the average for the hospital.»
According to him, vendors include Samsung, Asus, Xiaomi. mono is going to appeal to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU).
«We are preparing an appeal to the AMCU against everyone who tries to regulate prices on the market in this way and blocks customers’ access to favorable prices,» Gorohovsky noted.
Recall that monobank launched its own market in October 2024. Horohovsky reported that the bank’s clients spent almost UAH 57 million in the first three days of its operation.
