Charter fighters conducted an operation in early December in the Kharkiv direction. The goal was to create conditions for the brigade's units to advance.

In the north of Kharkiv region, in the Lyptsi district, the Defense Forces conducted the first operation using exclusively robotic systems on the battlefield, said Volodymyr Degtyarev, a representative of the public relations service of the Charter brigade, during a telethon.

According to him, the operation was successful. It involved ground drones with machine guns, ground kamikaze drones, whose task is to drive up and blow up some obstacle or shelter. In addition, ground drones that demine or mine certain sections of the front.

"These are large multi-rotor copters that can carry a large charge, for example, an anti-tank mine. And FPV drones. All this is supported and controlled by many carousels of surveillance drones. That is, we are talking about dozens of units of robotic and unmanned equipment simultaneously on a small section of the front," said a representative of the Charter.

Planning such a robotic operation is extremely difficult, but it must be done. And it must be done as quickly as possible, the spokesman added.

"Our goal is to save the life of a soldier by replacing him on the battlefield, where possible, with a robotic or unmanned complex. This requires detailed planning, a constant search for new engineering solutions, and creating a culture of innovation in the brigade," says Colonel Maksym Golubok, Chief of Staff of the Charter Brigade.

"The one who uses the new technology will have an advantage. Perhaps in a few weeks. Therefore, the pace of adoption is important here, and it depends on support and resources. So that the team can quickly develop its own workshops, engineers and quickly adapt the technology," the speaker concluded.
