This was announced by the Sheptytsky City Council on Monday, October 27.
It is noted that Bohdan Zmyy made a significant contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Under his leadership, innovative technologies were created that saved the lives of military sappers and civilians, helping to clear liberated territories of explosive objects.
«His developments have become a symbol of Ukrainian ingenuity, resilience, and desire for life. A bright memory to the engineer, patriot, and person who dedicated his talent to serving Ukraine. We express our sincere condolences to Bohdan’s family, friends, and colleagues. Eternal memory. Heroes do not die,» the post reads.
