The Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF) announced a recruitment for the experimental Sandbox project, which allows AI and blockchain startups to gain expertise in product development.
The Sandbox is being implemented by USF in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation; it was launched in June 2025.
The Ukrainian Startup Fund reports that this is a safe environment where Ukrainian AI and blockchain startups can test, improve, and scale their technologies with the participation of regulators.
Startups working at the intersection of AI/blockchain and MedTech, BioTech, EdTech, DefenseTech, AgroTech, Digital Economy, and GovTech are eligible to participate in the Sandbox. To participate, you must have a prototype and/or a trial model, at least partially developed technical documentation, and funding from investors.
After joining the Sandbox, AI and blockchain startups will receive:
«All services and features are available for free and under NDA — all information and data about Sandbox participants are confidential and protected from publicity,» USF notes.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksandr Bornyakov said that Sandbox participants will be able to receive up to three individual consultations from specialists.
