NABU is recruiting six IT specialists for the digital investigation detective department

Candidates are offered a deferment from mobilization with a salary of up to $1,650.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has announced six vacancies at once in the Digital Investigations and Criminal Data Management Detectives Department of the Criminal Analysis and Financial Investigations Department. They are looking for three detectives (rate up to $1,650) and three chief specialists (rate up to $1,000).

Detective (Full-stack) — Digital Investigations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following DBMSs: relational (Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL (MariaDB) / Microsoft SQL Server), NoSQL (MongoDB / Elasticsearch / Redis).
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following procedural extensions: PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL, T-SQL, Procedural SQL, NoSQL skills.
  • Knowledge of the principles of data warehouse design and implementation (DWH, Data Lake, hybrid systems)
  • Knowledge of the principles of query optimization and database performance.
  • IT solutions and automation: experience in developing and implementing information and communication systems, business process automation will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of data processing principles, basic knowledge of methods of information collection and analysis, preparation of analytical documentation, data visualization. Experience working with tools for data collection and analysis.
  • Higher education (Master's, Specialist or Bachelor's degree since 2016) in the field of Electronics, Automation and Electronic Communications; Information Technologies; Mathematics and Statistics; Social and Behavioral Sciences (Economics), Law.
  • At least one year of work experience in one of the following areas: information technology, audit, risk management, systems and business analysis, corporate (economic) intelligence, data management.
  • Fluency in the state language is required**. Proficiency in a foreign language (English, French, German) at the Upper-Intermediate (B2) level and above is an additional advantage.

Detective (Back-end) — Digital Investigations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge and practical skills in one or more of the following programming languages: Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI) / JavaScript (Node.js) / Java / Dart / Go (Golang) / C# (.NET) / Rust / PHP, other programming languages.
  • Ability to work with APIs and integrate external services.
  • IT solutions and automation: experience in developing and implementing information and communication systems, business process automation.
  • Understanding of data processing principles, basic knowledge of methods of information collection and analysis, preparation of analytical documentation, data visualization. Experience working with tools for data collection and analysis.
  • Knowledge of the basics of working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Higher education (Master's, Specialist or Bachelor's degree since 2016) in the field of Electronics, Automation and Electronic Communications; Information Technologies; Mathematics and Statistics; Social and Behavioral Sciences (Economics), Law.
  • Work experience is not required.
  • Fluency in the state language is required**, proficiency in a foreign language (English, French, German) at the Upper-Intermediate (B2) level and above is an added advantage

Detective (DBA) — Digital Investigations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of back-end development (programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, PHP or others, and working with databases).
  • Understanding of API principles, systems integration, and data processing.
  • IT solutions and automation: experience in developing and implementing information and communication systems, business process automation.
  • Understanding of data processing principles, basic knowledge of methods of information collection and analysis, preparation of analytical documentation, data visualization. Experience working with tools for data collection and analysis.
  • Higher education (Master's, Specialist or Bachelor's degree since 2016) in the field of Electronics, Automation and Electronic Communications; Information Technologies; Mathematics and Statistics; Social and Behavioral Sciences (Economics).
  • Work experience is not required.
