New unique S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 cards with ATB are being sold on OLX for 100,000 UAH. Users also complain about a failure with pre-ordering almanacs
The demand for limited edition merchandise from the game universe has once again led to crazy price tags on the secondary market. Rare promo cards issued by the ATB supermarket chain are being resold on marketplaces for tens of thousands of hryvnias, while some fans are unable to receive pre-ordered printed almanacs due to technical problems with the organizers.
The demand for limited edition merchandise from the game universe has once again caused crazy price tags to appear on the secondary market. Rare promo cards issued by the ATB supermarket chain are being resold on marketplaces for tens of thousands of hryvnias, while some fans are unable to receive pre-ordered printed almanacs due to technical problems with the organizers.
This is a special collaboration, within the framework of which three unique cards No. 9, No. 15, No. 27, of an ultra-rare class, were released. As previously noted in the supermarket chain, their circulation is strictly limited - only 1,000 copies of each. In the wake of the hype, owners of such cards began to put them on the OLX platform, where prices for individual copies reach 100,000 hryvnias.
"This is a STALKER 2 collectible card with a pretty good number 707, hence the price," says the description of the card on OLX for UAH 100,000.
On average, prices for new limited cards are around UAH 10,000.
In parallel, on the social network Threads, gamers are reporting problems with obtaining exclusive almanacs from the game's universe, which were distributed by prior registration. Users complain that despite successful registration, their data has disappeared from the system.
"The almanacs have already arrived at my store nearby, but I didn't receive a code, although I registered 100%, and received a confirmation. I decided to call the hotline and it turned out that my number was not registered and of course I wouldn't receive my copy," one of the users shares his experience.
In the comments to the discussion, other buyers confirm similar failures. Some of them note that emails confirming successful pre-orders have disappeared from their e-mail boxes without a trace, which is why customers cannot prove to the support service that they made a reservation. The ATB network has not yet officially commented on the situation with the disappearance of registration data.
Let us remind you that as part of the promotional campaign for the Ukrainian shooter STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the ATB supermarket chain, together with the game developers GSC Game World, released a limited collection of cards.
