The media outlet «Kosht» writes about this, noting that the monomandria service is already integrated into the main monobank application, but there is no menu with a direct transition for users yet.
«This is a fully functional service like the well-known booking.com, although with some features,» the journalists note.
During the test, they were able to access and book accommodation. «The service is fully functional, although there are some minor bugs,» they concluded.
At the same time, hotels are connected through a third-party aggregator. monomandry works through Unit Travel — a specialized Ukrainian B2B platform in the field of tourism for agencies and corporate business.
The publication notes that «monomandry» is the main variant of the name of the travel service from monobank, but recalls that applications have been filed for the registration of several alternative trademarks for the service from mono: monomandry, monomandry, monotravel, monotravel, etc.
The media writes that Monobank itself refused to make any official comments regarding the service and its launch.
«The logic of the application is standard for similar services: hotel search by specific location or on the map, a number of filters for clarification (rating, type of accommodation, distance from the center, amenities, price options), display of key parameters for the selected hotel and online payment,» the journalists conclude.
Also, the current version of the service integrates a rating with translated reviews from other services (Expedia, Tripadvisor, and others). Reviews are summarized in a short note using artificial intelligence. Among other things, the service integrates an AI assistant, with which you can clarify details about the hotel.
«The main feature of monomandria is the ability to pay in installments in all accommodations. That is, payment installments for 3 months without commission. monobank began offering the same service in Ukrainian hotels at the beginning of the year, but in a test format and not en masse with a limited selection,» the journalists noted after the testing.
