According to «Military», the recipient of the systems will be the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The agreement has a framework format and provides for the possibility of purchasing up to 25 robotic kitchens. The company specifies that the CA-1 is manufactured specifically for the tasks of tactical food provision at training grounds.
CA-1 is positioned as a fully autonomous kitchen that covers the entire cooking cycle. The system should perform the selection of ingredients, heat treatment, serving of finished dishes and subsequent cleaning of the equipment. According to the manufacturer, the CA-1's productivity reaches 120 dishes per hour, and it takes several minutes to prepare one dish. Inside the complex, two robotic arms work, performing operations with ingredients and portioning.
For delivery to Ukraine, we are talking about the CA-1 Series 4 modification, which Circus SE introduced in 2025. In this version, according to the company’s description, the design was redesigned and the system was made lighter by almost 450 kg, modular grips with magnetic fastening were added, and the induction system was updated for more precise control of dish heating. Automatic adjustment of the mixing speed depending on the type of dish and sensors that track changes in ingredients in real time are also announced.
Circus also emphasizes the hygiene unit: between cooking, the kitchen switches to self-cleaning mode, and an industrial dishwasher disinfects equipment and working elements without the participation of personnel.
This is a robotics company from Munich that develops automated food preparation solutions. The use of autonomous kitchens in military infrastructure can reduce the dependence on the number of personnel at supply points, speed up the deployment of food to training locations, and standardize quality and sanitation procedures in the field.
