This is about such an opportunity as replacing a passport photo in «Diya». The service will probably be paid.
«Would you be willing to replace the photo on your passport that is displayed in „Diia“ for 99 UAH?» asked First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov in Threads.
It seems that most Ukrainians liked this idea. At the time of publication, the thread had already received almost 7,000 likes, over 800 comments, and almost 200 shares.
In the comments, people write that they are even ready to pay more than 99 UAH. However, some note a problem with Diia. Signature through the photo.
«Even for 1999, I’m ready,» wrote @tanyaparfileva.
«As a person who is not recognized on passports, I am ready to pay 1000 UAH to change the photo, just so long as it is quick and online. Maybe after this my Diia.Signature will finally work,» — @vinogradna.yaaa .
«I would even pay more if, after I specifically replaced my passport so that the photo was up-to-date, they stopped verifying me for Diia.Signature based on the old photo. Otherwise, I can’t buy tickets or rent a car. I was led to believe that it would work, now I’m sitting like a fool with a new ID card,» — @darina.nanana.
«In many countries around the world, changing a photo in a passport is mandatory if a person has changed significantly visually. I think we need such a function, even if it costs 99 UAH,» — @roman_semenovych.
Ukrainians also don’t mind changing their photos and their rights.
«I want to change the photo rights that are displayed in Action for ANY LOT OF MONEY!» shared another user under the nickname @nastnenast3.
Sometimes, people are so unhappy with how they look in photos that they are even willing to lose their documents. But one of the main reasons is that appearance can change over time.
«Yes, because it creates a lot of problems when a person changes their hairstyle, loses weight/gains weight, or has had plastic surgery,» — @natalia_kutnenko .
«Ahahahaha! Top service. My daughter — yes) she was going to pretend she lost her ID and go get it again,» wrote @borodina.
«I once had a driver’s license like this when I was 18)) I came to take it and didn’t know that the photos were on the same day, so six months later when I lost them, I was quietly happy that I would be able to take new photos!», — shared a similar situation @yulia.psychologist.
At the same time, user @ihoross noted: «People in the comments! Do you understand that they want to extort money from you for a service that should be provided for FREE????!!!».
This comment that this service should be free is far from unique.
User @takosla noted that people don’t have enough money anyway: «No, they’re not ready. Because it’s just a surprise in today’s realities. People don’t know how to make ends meet, and you have to pay to replace photos in electronic documents.»
Another user @yemets.ira offered to do this service in exchange for a donation to the Armed Forces.
