In January, Telegram introduced collectible gifts that users can buy and give for special stars, and with the new update, they are now available on a new platform, the developers said in a blog post. According to them, this not only expands the selection, but also allows you to sell your own gifts to earn stars for new purchases.
«To send a gift, open any user’s profile and click the „Send Gift“ button. Use the „Sale“ filter if you want to buy rare, improved collectible gifts», — the new functionality in Telegram explains.
To sell a collectible gift, you need to open it in your profile, click the «Sell» button and set the desired price in stars. After posting, the gift will appear on the platform and receive the «For Sale» label in your profile.
Another interesting feature is available to channel owners on Telegram, who can now enable automatic translation for all users. Previously, Telegram users could translate messages, and Premium users could translate entire chats.
«When this feature is active, visitors see messages in their chosen language, helping authors reach a global audience,» the developers note.
