The developers of Floralis, a game about a future where plants have evolved into predators, have released a new gameplay video showcasing some of the game’s key scenes.
In Floralis, players control a girl born from a tree who sets out in search of her missing sister. She will travel across a post-apocalyptic world filled with predatory wildlife and mysterious ruins.
SolidCore Games emphasizes that the project places special emphasis on interaction with the environment, with most of the puzzles focused on plant behavior. Players will have to skillfully guide the flora’s instincts and its sensitivity to light and movement to make their way through the jungle.
«You will have to sneak past predatory stalks, explore abandoned ruins, and trigger mysterious mechanisms. Despite the dangers, the heroine Floralis finds brief moments of joy — because she is still a child, although born among the ruins of the old world,» the authors describe the project.
Floralis is currently in development. The game will be released on PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S. Players can already try the demo of the project.
