The girl, who called herself «citizen C», told «EP» that this happened on March 11 in Kharkiv.
«They took my husband’s laptop, flash drives, and $200,000 that were in the house. I was planning to exchange these funds for hryvnia today in order to pay taxes for 2023. I agreed with the bank in advance to exchange the money», — the OnlyFans model claims.
She added that she had the impression that the police were tapping her phones because the investigators «knew when to come so that the money would be at home.» «Citizen C» claims that she asked not to seize the funds intended for income tax payments, for which she was offered a bribe of $100,000.
In the court ruling, which was obtained by Economic Truth, the model is suspected of «offering work to women, which consists of correspondence and creating pornographic content with the subsequent distribution of the aforementioned content in Kharkiv via the Internet». The girl denies that she uses hired labor, in particular for correspondence.
«Citizen S» also said that the National Police investigator allegedly reported that law enforcement officers have already collected enough evidence regarding most of the OnlyFans models who are in Kharkiv. In particular, they have allegedly already carried out «control purchases» of content. The girl believes that the police could have obtained data on the earnings of Ukrainian content creators on the OnlyFans platform. The Ukrainian tax service received this data in the fall of 2024. Later, by court decision, the Bureau of Economic Security received access to this information, which began conducting searches at the homes of models who earned the most money, the EP material says.
In December last year, Danylo Getmantsev, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, stated that 350 Onlyfans models in Ukraine have already filed tax returns and paid UAH 59.0 million in personal income tax and military duty. He called the conviction and criminal prosecution of adult content creators a «festival of hypocrisy.»
Subsequently, the Verkhovna Rada’s Law Enforcement Committee supported as a basis Bill No. 12191, which provides for the decriminalization of porn in Ukraine. It proposes amendments to Article 301 of the Criminal Code, which prosecutes authors of adult content on Onlyfans and other platforms.
Later, Lesya Mikhalenko, a lawyer for OnlyFans models whose clients were visited by BEB representatives, predicted the risk that these searches could be just the first wave of accusations against content creators across platforms and genres. According to her, attention could shift to many self-employed people — from Bolt drivers, Amazon and Etsy sellers, to photographers and videographers.
