«Two years ago, I left BlaBlaCar after an incredible journey dedicated to building the platform in Ukraine. Today I am happy to announce: I am back,» Miroshnychenko said on his LinkedIn.
He clarified that this time he will head the BlaBlaCar division in Central and Eastern Europe, covering Ukraine, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, and Croatia.
After leaving BlaBlaCar in 2023, Roman Miroshnychenko worked in the Web3 startup space Daos Hub Dubai as Chief Operating Officer.
At BlaBlaCar, Miroshnychenko will replace Olgerd Shileiko, who decided to focus on personal projects in the future.
«Over the past few years, BlaBlaCar has evolved into something much more than just a ride-sharing platform. The company is increasingly positioning itself as a global multimodal travel platform that combines carpooling, bus and rail travel,» noted Roman Miroshnychenko.
