The state application "Diya" is expanding the functionality of the remote marriage service. From now on, Ukrainians who have previously lost their husbands or wives will be able to get married via video call. The project team has now announced the start of a recruitment of beta testers to test the new option.
Representatives of the "Diya" team announced the expansion of the platform's capabilities on their official resources. According to the developers, the update will allow citizens who, after losing a partner, plan to officially start a new stage of life to use the digital service.
To become the first users of the updated service, candidates must meet the basic application criteria: be adult citizens of Ukraine, have a verified tax number (RNOKPP), as well as an ID card or biometric passport available in "Diya".
The key legal requirement for this category of users is the presence of a death certificate of the previous partner in the State Register of Civil Status Acts (DRACS). In addition, after the death or demise of a husband or wife, the person should not have entered into other official marriages. You can fill out the questionnaire for participation in beta testing via a special form from the developers.
